Opening and Contests!

The opening date will be Oct. 26th with hours of 10-4pm I also believe we will have evening hours that week. I am having Cathie cover for me while I am having baby until I am on my feet and into a routine, I should be there by end of November or early December, a lot of it is based on when the lil guy arrives. I look forward to seeing all of my consigners as well as others come in to shop with us! We have worked VERY hard to make the store look as great as it does. Fresh paint, carpeting, windows and window coverings. Pictures are posted on FB with all of our progress and I will be popping into the shop today to take some pics and post more to show the work on it. Our new big sign should be up by opening day as well. I designed the look of the shop to be very fun and bright.

We are still looking for some more consigners so when we hit 30 people we can do drawings, I will enter our consigners into both and have two seperate winners. Right now the shop looks full, we are still lacking in boys clothing from sizes 3T up, I have very slim pickings in that area at the moment. We also want to have back up stock to replenish with as other sizes get sold off. As of this Sunday I will only be taking the 30 items per appt. I am also going to cut appts to be made on our closed day of Mondays. I will make exceptions to be flexible for some appts on a case by case basis. We will most likely do more contests and I am working with Cathie on her offering coupons if you spend a certain amount in the shop at one time.  We are also thinking about setting up a day for her to do holiday mini sessions of photography so you all can come into the shop and get photos during closed hours those will be made by appt only and it will be on a date and time based on her availability.

New Happenings

Tomorrow our window signage will be going up as well as on our door! Very excited to see it all coming together! We have a fairly full inventory but we still are in need of baby girl items and boy items from 18months up to size 8! I am also taking kids shoes up to size 12!! Once opening happens I will have shop closed on Monday's for appts that way I have a day for all my consigners to come in freely to drop off and I have the availability to get it all up right away! This weekend will be the big clean/organize weekend for us! I am also ordering some last minute items that we need such as size tags to hang up with the clothing! I look forward to seeing everyone at the opening! As long as I am still pregnant I will be working and then I will be handing over the reigns to Cathie! We are also in talks of doing another free photo session if the FB page hits 300 people! We are not terribly far off! I know we can do it! Also there will be prizes at the shop on opening day! I am looking for 12 more consigners so I can enter the names in a drawing!!

Consignment Shop Opening Soon!

Some background about myself as the owner, My name is Tricia, I am a mom of a 5yr old little girl with a baby boy coming any day now! My mom and I decided to open this store as a joint venture together, she is more of a silent partner and major help when I need to get things done! We are planning to open the week of Oct. 25th! We have a FB page and are asking for feedback on what hours you would like to see us available! We are taking children's clothing from preemie to size 8 and shoes up to size 12. I may go up in sizes if someone is asking for them and we can get them in stock for you. It may just be based on special request at this time. We are running a giveaway on our FB right now for a FREE Portrait session with a great friend of mine Cathie of Playdate Photography! She does AMAZING work and is so much fun to work with. She does all kinds of portraits and we are discussing her using the shop on days I am not open as her studio! I am also taking in gear such as bassinets, cribs, strollers, high chairs and more.. They cannot be over 3 yrs old and cannot be part of a recall or I will have you take them back. Also all items being consigned must be clean, stain free, rip/tear free and in good used condition or new.  I am also working with some WAHM who make things such as moby type wraps for carrying baby! We also carry maternity clothing. All children's clothing must be seasonally appropriate, Maternity I am allowing all seasons at all times as I know some like to shop for things in advance when pregnant!
